Newspaper

I personally think that newspapers are out dated because of all of the new technology that is out, but newspapers are condsidered "traditional" because they have been around since 59 BC. Newspapers were all they had in the generation before cell phones and all of the new technology. I think that it is easier to just read the news off of a phone, ipad, computer or television instead of buying a newspaper. Some people would  rather buy a newspaper because newspapers are low tech, and the person might not like the modern technology. Another reason why people might like newspapers is because they are a physical object, and they are shareable. With the electronic format you wouldn't be able to lend your phone to someone so that they could read the news, so I think that newspapers are beneficial in that way. Newspapers are also very cheap and affordable so people who don't have enough money for modern technology can still know what's happening in the world. The way that people get their news has definitely evolved since it first started, but now there are so many other ways to recieve the news.
