Response to "Recorded Music" lecture

Recently we had a lecture on recorded music. I enjoyed this lecture because we learned how much people cared about music, and how to make music before technology was invented. Now that we have technology, people can basically get music whenever and wherever they want. In all of my 15 years of living I can’t recall a time when recorded music wasn’t abundant. I cannot imagine a time without recorded music. I think people in this generation have taken recorded music for granted. Today most of the pop songs out are mostly made off of computers. The music in the songs is not original and a lot of it isn’t even real music, and honestly it is kind of frustrating. Most artists today don’t even write their own music and when they come in concert, most of the music is pre-recorded. Music used to be something that was valued by people; it was something that was only played during special events, and things of importance. Now music is everywhere. It has been around since the beginning of time and will most likely be around for the end. Music has come a long way since it was first created, and will only continue to flourish.
